About Artemis Agency
The agency was established in 2007 as part of Artemis Studios. In 2014 it became independent. We represent a niche pool of creative talent aged 4 to adult, and we pursue opportunities for Theatre/Film/TV projects all year round. We have experience negotiating contracts, obtaining child licenses and maintaining the relevant protection certifications. The agents have experience in all three disciplines, with key growth plans in place for 2019 and beyond.
All our performers are trained (or in training). We have strong track record for supplying talented young people (4-30) for stage (including most of the West End musicals with children), screen and radio. We also provide young people and adults for corporate role play work. We don't believe in a scatter-gun approach to management. We have a small number clients who we know well, and know when we submit will fit the brief.
From June 2019, we have expanded the books to represent Creative Practitioners other than performers. We have worked with many professionals who have odd days available due to the nature of contract work - and they are keen to find work to fill those gaps (or longer for technical services).
We are still the official agency for both Artemis School and the new Artemis College (which provides free full time training at South Hill Park Arts Centre to ambitious performers aged 16-19), and we understand how hard it can be to cover tutors and workshop leaders when they have other professional engagements. We have created a data base of over 40 people who are highly skilled in their field, and are available for contract or ad hoc work.
If you would like to apply as either a performer or qualified/experienced practitioner, please email the agency in the first instance with a CV and headshot. We can't take your application further without a CV and headshot. If you are an actor aged 18 or over - we will need a Spotlight link and details of your training.
A full FAQ page for actors (child and adult) can be found here.
Please note we are not currently looking for young performers aged 13-15, unless they have significant experience on professional stage or screen. We don't currently represent models.
We are, however, urgently looking for children aged 8-12, who are shorter than 5 feet tall and who are very strong triple threats (singing, dancing and acting). This is for West End work. We can't consider anyone who is not very strong in dance and singing. Dancers are likely to have taken grades in ballet and other disciplines.
Our performers books open for audition in Spring and Autumn. We don't usually take anyone on between June and October.
